Braybrook brings more than 15 years of marketing experience, including seven years in distribution across B2B and B2C markets. His role will focus on increasing awareness of Gtechniq and its ceramic coating products within the marine sector.

“It’s such an exciting time to come on board with Gtechniq, a brand with such a strong reputation in the automotive sphere already,” says Baybrook. “The product is easy to use and provides genuine, tangible benefits, making our lives easier and giving end users a higher quality finish that helps protect their investment against harsh, marine environments.”

Brown joins Gtechniq from the automotive and motorsport sectors, where she worked within digital marketing teams. Her role will focus on digital presence, customer online experience and content development across multiple sectors.

“Coming from the automotive sector, I’ve been well aware of Gtechniq and their incredible products,” says Brown. “I am really excited to be a part of their journey and help more people to see the benefits of ceramic coatings and see some huge opportunities for growth, especially in the marine sector, where more traditional coatings are still favoured by a large number of owners – ceramic is the future.”

Duguid joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in brand and product management. His responsibilities include bringing new products to market and overseeing development across Gtechniq’s existing product ranges.

“Whilst my past experience lies within the cycling sector, my background in product management puts me into a perfect position to help drive development of the Gtechniq range. Working with the team in our in-house laboratory, we can drive improvements with product, packaging and application to make it even more effective and easier to use,” says Duguid. “We’ve got some exciting new products launching this year in every category, including marine.”

The appointments come as Gtechniq continues to invest in products and technologies for automotive, marine and bike applications. The company says development work remains focused on surface protection and maintenance products designed for longer-term use.
