Nomad 70 hits the water as Gulf Craft expands long-range yacht lineup 

Gulf Craft has launched the new Nomad 70 at its UAE shipyard, adding a new model to the builder’s long-range cruising yacht range. 

The 21.3-metre yacht has been developed with Dutch design studio Phathom Studio and follows the updated design language introduced with the Nomad 101. The new model combines a redesigned exterior profile with updated interiors to support extended cruising. 

Phathom Studio brings ‘soft minimalism’ onboard 

Phathom Studio was responsible for the interiors of the Nomad 70, drawing on its ‘soft minimalism’ philosophy. The interior comprises warm, natural materials and a restrained architectural approach, with the layout designed to balance practical requirements with residential-style comfort. 

The main deck features an open-play social area, while the full-beam owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck. The suite offers panoramic 270-degree views and has been designed to provide greater privacy. The upper deck offers additional flexible living space, and for guest accommodation there are four en-suite cabins.

Designed for extended cruising 

Gulf Craft says the Nomad 70 has been developed to provide the volume and amenities of larger yachts while offering the capabilities required for long-range cruising. For this, the technical and operational areas have been integrated alongside the living spaces, with a layout that supports longer periods away from ports and marinas. 

Last year, the UAE-based shipyard introduced cryptocurrency payments for yacht purchases, including the Nomad line. 

The Nomad 70 has now entered the water at Gulf Craft’s shipyard in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.
