I-Bridge with 3D sensors installed on first 50m Riva M/Y Race

Team Italia (navigation electronics for mega and maxi yachts), has installed an innovative bridge solution on the first 50m Riva M/Y Race. This I-Bridge comes with multi-control system and stretched display implemented with new, specific functions.

This is the third I-Bridge that the owner has chosen – just as he did for his previous yachts.

Navigation is supported by two side wings (which are also integrated) and by the Team Italia EMAS (Electronic Moving Assistant System), which is said to make manoeuvring the yacht easier by processing the data from the 3D sensors.

Because the system in the Riva M/Y Race was developed and tested in-house, all possible function tests were performed before installing the system on the yacht to ensure that every control interface in the system is fully functional and ready for use.

Remote diagnostics and maintenance systems mean technicians can manage the system and ensure it functions correctly from their workshops.
