IntusHQ secures investment for UHNW asset management
The UK-based mobile-first asset and inventory management platform IntusHQ has secured a six-figure investment round to support product development, team expansion and customer acquisition.
IntusHQ is designed for high- and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) households, yachts, private jets and property portfolios.
Among the investors is Craig Hopwood, former CFO of Voly, who brings experience in finance, operations and scaling technology businesses within the yachting sector.
The company was founded by former yacht interior manager Katy Jeffcoate. She spent more than 15 years working aboard superyachts, followed by eight years consulting on yacht new builds and luxury asset set-ups. During that time, she says she identified a lack of software specifically designed to manage yacht interiors and high-value inventories.
“Whether it was furniture, artwork, tableware, jewellery or wine collections, everything was being managed through spreadsheets, disconnected systems or knowledge held by individual crew members,” says Jeffcoate. “The problem isn’t necessarily that assets are missing, it’s that information has never been properly captured or centralised.”
IntusHQ records asset locations, valuation, provenance, care instructions and movement history, with information available to family offices and operational teams.
The platform includes inventory movement tracking, item details and photography, custom categories, care information, date and time stamps and reporting. It is designed particularly for portfolios where assets are spread across multiple locations and managed by rotating teams.
Over the past 10 months, the company has appointed Leslie Gillotte as operations and growth lead. Gillotte has more than a decade of experience across superyachts and yachting technology. She co-founded Pinpoint Works, a yacht management software platform that was acquired by Voly in 2023.
“Having Leslie involved is incredibly valuable,” adds Jeffcoate. “She understands both the realities of yachting operations and what it takes to build and scale software in this industry. Her experience gives us an enormous advantage as we grow.”
Investor Craig Hopwood says the company is addressing an operational issue in a market where asset portfolios are increasingly distributed across different locations.
“Luxury asset portfolios are becoming increasingly global and complex, yet many are still being managed through manual systems,” he says. “IntusHQ is solving a real problem with a product designed specifically for the market it serves. Katy’s domain expertise, combined with Leslie’s track record in yachting tech, makes this an exciting opportunity.”
IntusHQ says it can identify generational wealth transfer, increased digitisation of family offices and demand for real-time visibility across distributed portfolios as factors contributing to demand for asset management systems. The company cites an estimated $84tn in wealth expected to transfer between generations in the coming decades, with newer generations increasingly expecting digital-first solutions.
The company says it plans to continue developing the platform and building partnerships with teams managing high-value inventories and personal assets. It is currently seeking discussions with operational teams, shipyards, management companies and family offices, as well as early customers whose feedback can help inform future features.
