Milan-based rigid inflatable boatbuilder Lomac is expanding its sales and service footprint with the appointment of six new dealers across Italy, the Mediterranean and Asia, taking its global dealer network to around 70 partners.

The move highlights the company’s focus on strengthening distribution and customer support alongside product development.

“The development of our distribution network is a key element of our growth strategy,” says Fabrizio Lo Manto, managing director of Lomac Milano. “Alongside product innovation and build quality, it is essential to be able to rely on trustworthy and qualified partners who can embody the brand’s values, and offer a comprehensive, nationwide service.”

Six new dealer appointments

The six new dealers cover a mix of domestic and international markets:

  • D’Addario Yacht, covering Apulia, with offices in Taranto and Pescara
  • Italian Dealer, covering Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Lake Iseo, with offices in Clusane,Varazze, Rimini, Falconara Marittima and San Lorenzo al Mare

According to Lomac, the appointments are intended to strengthen both local market coverage in Italy and the company’s presence in overseas markets.

Focus on customer support

The network expansion forms part of a broader strategy that combines product development with a stronger focus on distribution quality and after-sales support. The idea is that a wider dealer presence will help it provide more effective support to customers and improve access to sales and service across its key markets.

Lo Manto says the objective is “to be ever closer to our customers, both in Italy and abroad.”

Building an international presence

The latest appointments extend Lomac’s reach in several established boating markets while also strengthening its position in Asia through new representation in India, Hong Kong, Macau and Japan. That said, the company is following a gradual growth strategy which combines product development, manufacturing quality and market expansion.

Lomac specialises in premium rigid inflatable boats and has steadily expanded its international distribution network in recent years as it seeks broader market coverage and closer customer support.
