Azimut-Benetti, Sanlorenzo and others join Seaquip’s advisory board ahead of 2027 B2B marine show
B2B leisure marine show Seaquip is launching its Advisory Board, bringing together key industry figures to guide the strategic development of the components-focused exhibition.
Comprising professionals from leading shipyards across both the sailing and motor yacht sectors, the board marks a deepened engagement from the supply chain, with members actively contributing to the exhibition’s future direction.
The advisory board has been established to support the Seaquip team in defining the core strategy and content for the next edition of the show, scheduled for March 2027. Key priorities will include supporting the evolution of marine components and developing enhanced services tailored to the trade.
The shipyards that are part of Seaquip’s Advisory Board are:
- Azimut-Benetti Group
- Antonini Navi
- Baglietto Yachts
- Groupe Beneteau
- Cantiere Rossini
- Ferretti Yachts
- Rio Yachts
- Sanlorenzo Yacht
- Solaris Yachts
- Valdettaro Group
- WOSA Yacht Refit & Survey
Earlier this year, Seaquip organisers announced plans to double the size of the event for 2027.
The first meeting took place on 24 June at Triennale Milano, moderated by journalist Fabio Petrone. The session initiated a structured dialogue regarding the critical needs of the supply chain and future industry trajectories. Organisers noted that the active contribution of the founding members highlights a shared commitment to building a long-term development pathway for the exhibition.
Activities will continue through dedicated discussion sessions, both throughout 2027 and with a long-term perspective.
The Advisory Board will help capture emerging needs and trends, foster the exchange of expertise, and actively guide the evolution of the Seaquip platform.
During the first meeting, several key priorities for the sector emerged, including digitalisation, innovation, investment sustainability, safety, vessel light-weighting, and the development of smart yachting. Significant attention was also given to regulatory developments and to cross-industry dialogue, drawing on expertise and models from other sectors that may provide valuable insights for the future of the nautical industry.
Pier Paolo Ponchia, managing director of Easyfairs Italy, says: “I am very proud of the response from professionals across the nautical sector, confirming the growing interest Seaquip is generating. The participation of leading shipyards, from both the sailing and motor segments, is an important recognition and reflects a clear willingness to actively contribute to the growth of the exhibition and the entire supply chain.”
