Marina Port Valencia reveals more details of 2025 Valencia Boat Show partnership

Marina Port Valencia has participated in its first Palma International Boat Show, which ran from 30 April to 3 May 2025. The event also served as the platform for announcing more details of its partnership with the Valencia Boat Show.
Earlier this year, organisers of the Valencia Boat Show confirmed it is set to return to a redeveloped and rechristened Marina Port Valencia from 22 to 26 October 2025, for its 16th edition. The venue, features the Veles e Vents building, which previously hosted the event until 2015.
A joint venture between Semar (Serveis Marítims Port Eivissa) and Ocibar will spearhead the renovation and management of the marina rechristened Marina Port Valencia (formerly La Marina de Valencia). This company will develop and operate the project submitted to the Valencia Port Authority for a minimum period of 35 years.
The Valencia port redevelopment includes berths ranging from 8 metres up to 130 metres to accommodate a range of boats, extensive green areas for outdoor activities, terrace spaces, high-end dining and shopping options, and a dedicated venue for watersports promotion and research.

Marina Port Valencia exhibited from its own stand within the Superyacht Village at the Palma show. During the four-day Palma show, the Marina Port Valencia team revealed more details of the project, promoted by IPM-IMG Group and Ocibar, including updates on recent progress and outlined the scope of the forthcoming redevelopment.
“We’re so grateful to everyone who came to say hello, spend some of their time with us and share their feedback with us. It was a pleasure to explain the details of the future Marina Port Valencia and to liaise with industry colleagues in the wonderful atmosphere of Palma Superyacht Village”, says Santiago Donat, managing director of Marina Port Valencia.
An event was held at the stand on 1 May to mark the announcement of the partnership between Marina Port Valencia and the Valencia Boat Show 2025.
“Exhibiting for the first time at such an important show was a major step for us”, adds Donat. “We’re leaving Mallorca with the feeling of having done a great job, and we’re keen to come back for future editions”.

Marina Port Valencia has indicated that promoting nautical activities will be a priority at its new facilities. In a statement made at the show, the marina said: “This strategic approach aims to boost life in the marina and bolster its role as an economic, social and sporting driving force in the city.
“What’s more, Marina Port Valencia considers its active involvement in major nautical events as a key part of its DNA, not just to showcase the project but also to place Valencia on the map as an international go-to destination. This is because key cornerstones of the project include integrating the port into the city, bolstering its international renown, and making it a benchmark in the yachting scene on a regional and European level.”
This announcement comes as the Valencia Boat Show experiences significant growth, with a 30 per cent increase in exhibition space at its 15th edition. The 2024 show featured 150 yachts and 120 national and international exhibitors across a 47,221-square-metre exhibition area.
