Maxwell Marine appoints superyacht sales manager
Anchoring systems specialist Maxwell Marine has named Daniele Toretta as superyacht sales manager, covering both OEM and refit. In his new role, Toretta will be responsible for growing Maxwell Marine’s superyacht business in Italy, strengthening relationships with existing customers and identifying new commercial opportunities.
Toretta has worked in the marine industry since 2007, most recently spending four years as sales manager in northern Italy for Vetus.
With broad experience, particularly in propulsion and hydrodynamics, he has previously worked with shipyards, naval architects, designers and other key stakeholders, supporting projects from the early design stages through to final installation.
At Maxwell, Toretta (pictured left) will focus on anchoring and mooring systems, including windlasses, capstans and mooring winches. He will also seek to capitalise on refit opportunities and strengthen Maxwell Marine’s presence across Italy.
Toretta says: “I am delighted to step into this new role and strongly believe that Maxwell Marine is one of the most reliable and technically competent partners available, offering high-quality products and valuable practical support. My approach is to build long-term relationships, understand each customer’s needs and work closely with shipyards, designers and technical teams to find the most suitable solutions.”
Davide Baldereschi, general manager Vetus Maxwell Italia, comments: “Daniele has already made a positive impression at VETUS, and we are looking forward to seeing the continued growth in such a key market, especially within more complex projects where technical support, reliability and tailored solutions are essential.”
Readers can meet Toretta at Metstrade this November on stand 07.160.
