Numarine has appointed Chris Gore as its new sales and marketing director. The appointment adds to the Turkish shipyard’s management team as it continues the development of its explorer yacht portfolio.

“I’m pleased we’ve added such a strong leader with a global vision. Chris is a skilled sales and relationship expert with over 20 years of international experience,” says Ömer Malaz, chairman of Numarine. “I know him as a creative brand builder with excellent commercial insight.”

Gore brings over two decades of experience in the yachting sector. He began his career at Peters PLC, formerly Europe’s largest boat distributor and at the time the leading global dealer for Fairline Yachts. He has since held senior roles with shipyards including Cantieri di Pisa, Princess Yachts, Azimut-Benetti and Fairline Yachts, where he served as head of sales until April 2025.

Fairline was acquired by Bronzewood Capital, the private equity arm of corporate recovery specialist Buchler Phillips, in April.

“I’m excited to join Numarine and work with the team to grow our global reach,” says Gore.

Numarine is set to expand its model range in 2025. The new 40MXP flagship is scheduled to launch in the coming weeks. The company recently revealed its largest model to date, the 47MXP. As of June 2025, Numarine offers eight models, with a new release scheduled to premiere at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

The current Numarine leadership includes Ömer Malaz (chairman), Malcolm Hutchison (board member and technical director), Murat Şen (general manager), Chris Gore (sales and marketing director) and Bengü Özdoğan (sales and marketing manager).
