Ocean Signal expands in Norwegian market with new distributor

Ocean Signal, which develops communication and safety technology for maritime use, has appointed marine equipment wholesaler Flak AS as a distributor for the Norwegian market.
The agreement enables Flak to offer the company’s full range of safety products for the leisure, fishing and commercial sectors in Norway. Flak will supply Ocean Signal’s products to dealers across the country and also promote them at national shows.
Flak is one of the largest distributors of boating equipment in Norway and has operated in the sector since 1974.
Ocean Signal operates with the ACR Group. Ocean Signal’s range includes EPIRBs, PLBs, SARTs, VHF radios, AIS man overboard devices and other electronic safety equipment for use on both leisure and commercial vessels. Under the new arrangement, Flak will handle distribution logistics and also provide dealer support.
