Ring Power becomes exclusive North American distributor for Cox Marine diesel outboards

Ring Power Corporation has expanded its partnership with UK diesel outboard manufacturer Cox Marine, becoming the company’s exclusive distributor across North America.

Under the new agreement, Ring Power will hold distribution rights covering the entire United States, the Caribbean and US territories. The firm expanded its Cox Marine territory into the southern United States earlier this year.

Under the expanded agreement, Ring Power will provide sales, technical support, parts availability, and dealer network development for Cox Marine’s diesel outboard range across the territory. Read all the latest distribution news from Cox Marine.

“This expansion reflects the tremendous momentum behind the Cox Marine product line and the confidence both organisations share in the future of diesel outboard technology,” says Patrick Bucci, general manager of the Cox Marine Division at Ring Power.

Bucci explains the expanded territory will let the company target a broader range of marine sectors, including commercial and military applications, and support OEM boat builders across North America and the Caribbean.

Hugh Hudleston, global business development director (who was appointed to Cox Marine in May 2025), adds: “We are incredibly excited to further strengthen our partnership with Ring Power. It was only earlier this year that they successfully expanded into the Southern States, to now having exclusivity across the entire United States.”

Hudleston says that Ring Power has demonstrated a commitment to Cox Marine’s products and customer support, with investment in sales, service and dealer development.

Cox Marine’s diesel outboard platform is designed for military, government, commercial and recreational applications. The engines are intended to operate using widely available diesel fuel infrastructure, with the company highlighting fuel efficiency, interoperability, and operational flexibility as key characteristics.

Ring Power says it will continue investing in dealer development, service infrastructure, technician training and customer support across its expanded territory.
