SAIM marks 75th anniversary with Milan exhibition
Italian equipment supplier SAIM is marking its 75th anniversary with a public photography exhibition in Milan, in partnership with Italian art academy Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano (NABA).
The exhibition opens today (29 April 2026) as part of a wider SAIM 75 programme, marking the group’s anniversary. The exhibition focuses on employees and day-to-day working life within the company, under the concept “Deep Roots, Looking to the Future”.
Students from NABA were invited to document SAIM from within the business, focusing on staff, routine activity, production processes and details linked to the company’s identity. The exhibition, organised by Tarpini Production, presents a selection of images created by the students after time spent immersed in the organisation.
“We wanted to celebrate SAIM’s 75th anniversary by starting with what best represents us: our people,” says Massimo Donà, president and CEO of SAIM. “Entrusting this story to young photographers means valuing the fresh perspective of the new generations and reaffirming our belief that human capital is the true driving force of the company, both yesterday and today.”
Marco Donà, vice president and CEO of SAIM, adds: “This collaboration with NABA represents an opportunity for us to dialogue between different worlds: that of business and that of creativity. The exhibition is a concrete example of how innovation, culture, and education can converge, offering young talents a space for expression while simultaneously narrating the company in a profound, contemporary and unconventional way.”
A competition linked to the exhibition will award a scholarship to selected projects. Chosen works will also feature in wider SAIM 75 anniversary events.
The exhibition is taking place in Dazi Milano, a publicly accessible events space and restaurant in central Milan.
