Sanlorenzo opens Sydney office and launches Bluegame in Australia
Sanlorenzo has opened an office in Sydney. Image courtesy of Sanlorenzo Yachts. Sanlorenzo has announced the opening of an Australian office, in Sydney, following its acquisition of a majority stake in APAC-based dealership Simpson Marine earlier this year.
The Italian shipyard says this move establishes a direct presence in the Asia-Pacific region, acknowledging it as a “strategically relevant” market for the company’s global growth strategy.
The Sydney office launch also marks the debut of Bluegame in Australia, with the introduction of the BGX63 model, part of Bluegame’s crossover range.
In May, Sanlorenzo completed the acquisition of 95 per cent of Simpson Marine, a key player in yachting sales and services in the Asia-Pacific region. The acquisition allows Sanlorenzo to enhance its service offerings and strengthen its position in a market with substantial development prospects over the next decade.
By establishing a presence in Sydney, Sanlorenzo says it aims to introduce its products to the Australian market while continuing its international expansion.
Joining the BGX63 at the launch event earlier this month were two of Sanlorenzo’s yachts, the SX76 and SD126.
