Sessa Marine names new CEO

Davide Breviglieri CEO of Sessa

Italian brand Sessa Marine has appointed Davide Breviglieri as new CEO.

An expert in strategic and operational management, Breviglieri brings solid experience in leadership positions in luxury goods and products industries, both in Brazil and Italy. He was the CEO of Azimut Yachts Brazil for a decade and later became an advisor to the group.

“We will operate on various fronts, combining two great powers: the 65-year market tradition of Sessa Marine with Brazilian construction quality, investing in technology and design, and, without a doubt, warming up the entire production chain of the global nautical sector,” highlights the new CEO, who will be based at Sessa Marine’s Italian headquarters.

Group president, José A. Galizio Neto, says the arrival of Breviglieri consolidates a robust plan to operate in many markets, which began with the acquisition of the Sessa Marine brand by Intech Boating in April 2023. “Sessa Marine is considered one of the most prestigious brands in the world, and we will reaffirm this tradition, but also add new expertise, a highly capable executive team, and innovations to our products, always with a vision for a sustainable future,” says Neto.

With manufacturing facilities in Italy (Cividate al Piano) and Brazil (Palhoça, in Santa Catarina), Sessa Marine will also open a new factory at the Palhoça unit in October 2023. Along with the existing two facilities, the project will have the capacity to double the shipyard’s total production, contributing to the development and distribution of the brand in new markets.
