Smartgyro strengthens US market presence

Smartgyro U.S Growth

Italy-headquartered Gyro stabilisation company Smartgyro is expanding its global footprint, with new dealers appointed by two of its major US distributors, Mack Boring & Parts Co. and Yanmar Mastry Engine Center.

Smartgyro says the newly appointed dealers, selected for their expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction, will play a pivotal role in providing localised support, installation services and maintenance assistance. This approach will help to strengthen customer service and make Smartgyro’s stabilisation solutions, aftercare services and ongoing maintenance of the units, more readily available to a wider customer base.

The news comes three weeks after Smartgyro announced integration with Navico multifunction displays.

”We are thrilled about our ongoing collaboration with Mack Boring & Parts Co. and Yanmar Mastry Engine Center, two trusted partners known for their exceptional commitment to quality and customer service,” says Pieter Feenstra, Smartgyro sales director for North-Europe, APAC and America.

“The appointment of new dealers underlines our joint commitment to expanding Smartgyro’s presence in the US market and ensuring our customers receive superior levels of service and support.”

Mack Boring & Parts Co. is a fourth-generation family-owned company with a history spanning 101 years, which is headquartered in Somerset, NJ. Mack Boring services customers through dealers, OEMs, and fleets along the eastern seaboard and the Great Lakes region.

“We currently have multiple dealers signed on the east coast,” says Patrick McGovern, president of Mack Boring and Co. “Our dealer development team is actively pursuing dealers in our Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Great Lakes regions with a goal of having sales, service and support for all of our areas by the end of 2024.”

Smartgyro is showcasing its solutions at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show (14-18 February 2024) at the Mastry Engine Center booth HP3P Herald Plaza, as well as the Yanmar Group stand MB1514 in the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Mastry Engine Center is a Florida-based company that supports customers, OEMs and a network of dealers with products and servicing across south-eastern United States and the Caribbean.

“We’re excited about strengthening this particular offering for US customers of Smartgyro’s marine stabilisation solutions and welcome customers to our booth at Miami Boat Show to find out more,” says Mastry Engine Center sales manager Payton Parrott.

The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors this year and is regarded as one of the premier industry events.
