Solé Advance to showcase SK-80 at three European shows
Solé Advance will showcase its new SK-80 marine engine at three international marine industry events over the coming months.
The 76hp engine, launched in June 2026, will be displayed at the Southampton International Boat Show, the Salón Náutico Internacional de Barcelona and Metstrade Amsterdam.
The SK-80 produces 76hp at 2,700rpm and uses a Kubota base engine with a turbocharged intercooled system. Its compact configuration is intended for installations where space is limited, including medium-sized sailing yachts and professional vessels.
Th firm says the engine is designed for applications requiring power, efficiency, reliability and ease of integration.
The first exhibition will be the Southampton International Boat Show, taking place from 18 to 27 September 2026 at Mayflower Park. Engines Plus, Solé Advance’s official UK distributor, will display the SK-80 at stand P136.
It will then be shown at the Salón Náutico Internacional de Barcelona from 14 to 18 October at Port Vell. Solé Advance will exhibit the engine at stand D88 alongside its other propulsion and onboard power generation products.
The final event will be Metstrade, held from 17 to 19 November at RAI Amsterdam. The SK-80 will be part of Solé Advance’s display at stand 02.505.
The European show season follows Solé Advance’s recent entry into the US market with a range of EPA-certified marine generator sets. The Barcelona-based company will also exhibit at IBEX from October 6 to 8 for the first time.
