Superyacht Australia and APSA revise strategy to promote APAC cruising
Superyacht Australia and the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) have announced a revised direction for their long-running partnership, with future activity centred on promoting the Asia-Pacific region, including the South Pacific, as a superyacht cruising destination.
For several years, Superyacht Australia has run a collaborative South Pacific marketing campaign aimed at owners, captains and brokers operating across the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The initiative has included a presence at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), and previously at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) before later focusing on the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
That work has contributed to raising awareness of Australia and the South Pacific among the international superyacht sector and supporting increased yacht traffic into the region.
Under the revised approach, Superyacht Australia and APSA say they will extend the campaign to reflect a broader regional offer across Asia-Pacific cruising markets.
The programme will cover Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and the Philippines, alongside Australia and the South Pacific.
The organisations say the wider scope is intended to present a broader range of cruising options and to strengthen the region’s visibility among international superyacht audiences.
