MIN caught up with Barry Chapman, marine sales director at Barantech, at IBEX 2024 to discuss the company’s latest innovations in Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutions for the marine industry.

“We’ve been working closely with OEMs to ensure that our systems not only meet but exceed expectations for performance and reliability,” Chapman says. He notes that Barantech’s focus is on offering sleek, intuitive designs that integrate seamlessly with existing marine systems.

Chapman also touches on Barantech’s strategy of showcasing its products at leading marine industry events like IBEX and METSTRADE. These events, he explains, are crucial for demonstrating the company’s latest innovations to a wider audience. “Being at events like IBEX and METSTRADE allows us to show the industry what we’ve been working on and get direct feedback from OEMs and other key players,” he says.
As the marine industry continues to move toward more advanced technology, Barantech says it remains focused on staying at the forefront of HMI development for marine applications, working closely with OEMs to deliver products that meet the evolving needs of the market.
