Vortec Marine expands its team

Yacht refit and repair company, Vortec Marine, has expanded its team with the appointment of two new staff.

Lauren Reiske joins as Business Operations Manager, bringing with her 15 years marine industry experience. Starting out at a sail makers, Reiske moved to Universal Marina where she worked her way up from administration assistant to marina manager, before taking a break from the industry. Now back, she will be involved with multiple areas of Vortec’s business including operations, accounts, marketing Health and Safety and HR.

Joining Vortec as an Estimator is David Delamore. With a total of 27 years working for Hamble Yacht Services, Delamore has a vast amount of refit and repair experience. The last 10 years have been spent honing his estimating skills which Vortec Marine say will be a huge asset to the business.

“Fantastic to be welcoming David from HYS with all his experience and to be working with Lauren again,” says Director, Richard Burlingham. “Having worked together for a number of years and grown the business at Universal Marina I look forward to doing the same at Vortec Marine.”

Managing Director Ross Collingwood says: “I am pleased to welcome the new additions to the team and I’m looking forward to continued expansion of the business.”

Office Administrator, Honor Daniels-King has also completed her apprenticeship and is now a permanent member of the Vortec Marine team.
