Avikus strengthens leadership team with Bryan Elmore
Avikus, HD Hyundai’s autonomous navigation in-house subsidiary, has named Bryan Elmore as vice president of sales and business development.
Elmore brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, strategic marketing and sales across various industries such as energy, defence, aerospace, marine and consumer products.
Before joining Avikus, Elmore held multiple leadership roles at Brunswick’s Navico Group, including OEM sales manager for performance products, category manager for power systems, and sales manager for aftermarket and distribution accounts.
Elmore comments: “I am very excited to join Avikus in the next stage of their evolution. There is amazing innovation in the existing product line, and we have so much in store for the immediate future. I’m truly looking forward to working with existing customers and establishing new relationships.”
His career also includes positions as regional sales manager for OEMs at Seakeeper, product manager for the Sea-Doo brand at BRP, and director of commercial development at Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, where he led the expansion of the firm’s energy portfolio through solar, land-based gas and water utility acquisitions.
Elmore’s background extends to Harris Corporation, where he served as senior strategic marketing manager for the environmental solutions business unit, overseeing climate monitoring and greenhouse gas measurement systems, and leading marketing for RF Energy and aviation divisions.
He also worked with Sempra Energy as commercial development manager, developing natural gas pipeline expansion and power generation projects in the Southeast US.
Paul Petani, managing director, Avikus USA, adds: “We are thrilled to welcome Bryan to the Avikus team. Building on recent momentum in new product development, recent OEM partnerships and significant sales and marketing initiatives, having an experienced hand guiding business development is vital. We are confident that Bryan will be instrumental in the continued success of the brand.”
The news comes two months after Avikus released Neuboat Navi with Control, a system designed for collision avoidance and route planning.
