BWA Yachting has expanded its presence in Latin America by launching new agencies in Panama and Colombia, in partnership with regional company Rozo Group.

The new operations, based in Panama City and Cartagena, respectively, extend BWA Yachting’s agency network across the Americas and support yachts cruising between the Caribbean, Latin America and the Pacific.

Jaime Rozo, managing partner, will oversee the operations in both countries. Emanuel Lewis will manage the Panama operation, while Stefy Villa will lead the agency in Colombia.

The two agencies will provide yacht agency and concierge services, including port and customs formalities, immigration and clearances, berthing, bunkering, provisioning, technical and logistical support, transportation, and crew and guest assistance.

In Panama, a key focus will be supporting yachts transiting the Panama Canal. The local team will assist with planning, documentation, formalities and coordination during canal transits.

The Panama Canal links the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and is an important route for yachts moving between the Caribbean and Pacific cruising regions.

In Colombia, the Cartagena-based agency will support yachts cruising the country’s Caribbean coast, providing local agency, logistical and destination services.

The new operations also connect BWA Yachting’s existing network in the Caribbean and Puerto Rico with cruising destinations in Central and South America, with onward access to the Pacific via the Panama Canal.

Jaime Rozo, managing partner of BWA Yachting Panama and Colombia, says the company expects the region’s position between the Caribbean and Pacific to create opportunities for yacht itineraries across the Americas.

Rozo adds: “Looking ahead, major international events on the Pacific coast, including the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, are likely to bring greater international attention to the region. Establishing the right local expertise and operational capabilities now means we will be well positioned to support yachts as new cruising opportunities develop.”

“Strengthening our presence in Latin America is an important part of BWA Yachting’s wider strategy across the Americas,” says Nikolaos Patsiokas, COO of BWA Yachting. “With Panama and Colombia, we are extending the reach of our network into two strategically important destinations while creating stronger continuity between the Caribbean, Central and South America and the Pacific. Together with Rozo Group and our local teams, our focus is on giving clients the same trusted expertise, seamless coordination, and consistent level of service wherever their itineraries take them.”
