C-Quip appoints Floris van Ede to sales team to expand European footprint

Marine equipment supplier C-Quip has appointed Floris van Ede to its sales team, bringing extensive experience in custom carbon fibre superyacht equipment, commercial leadership and marine project management.

Van Ede has spent many years working within the superyacht industry, including six years as managing director of a specialist custom carbon fibre equipment company, alongside roles in yacht equipment and custom tender sales.

At C-Quip, he will work with clients, shipyards, designers and industry partners to understand their project requirements and explore suitable equipment solutions with the team.

Based in the Netherlands, Van Ede strengthens C-Quip’s presence in Europe and provides a local point of contact for clients, shipyards, designers and industry partners. Working closely with C-Quip’s design and manufacturing team in New Zealand, he will support marine equipment enquiries, new project opportunities and the development of custom solutions.

With a background spanning commercial leadership, sales, project management and the delivery of custom equipment for some of the world’s leading superyacht projects, he brings a practical understanding of the requirements behind individual yacht projects.

C-Quip says Van Ede’s presence in Europe brings the firm closer to the people specifying, building and using our equipment, while providing a direct connection to the technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities of our team in New Zealand.

Earlier this year, C-Quip also launched a commercial marine website.
