Taking place from 24 to 27 September, the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show is spotlighting environmentally focused technologies and solutions through its new Blue Wake programme, designed to highlight proven and operational innovations that support environmental progress.
Running in collaboration with the show’s official sustainability partner, the Water Revolution Foundation, the programme currently includes 30 Blue Wake-approved exhibitors, with applications open until 31 July 2025. Read all about last year’s Monaco Yacht Show on MIN.
Selection is based on a vetting process to ensure that solutions are credible, relevant, and capable of supporting measurable environmental gains. The current lineup features technologies surrounding propulsion, energy systems, water treatment, interior materials, coatings, refit practices, and port operations.
Gaëlle Tallarida, managing director of the Monaco Yacht Show, explains: “The Blue Wake programme fully reflects the vitality and diversity of the eco-responsible technological solutions and innovations being developed within the yachting industry. It shows that the sector is taking real steps forward at every stage of yacht design, production, and operation.
“As the leading international platform, the Monaco Yacht Show embraces its role as a catalyst for this transformation, by showcasing pioneering initiatives and tangible progress that actively contribute to the environmental transition of yachting.”
Among the propulsion and energy specialists, companies such as Ampros, Propulsion House, Rolls-Royce Power Systems, Voith, and Xeamos will present innovations in hybrid, electric, and renewable energy systems.
In the alternative fuels space, Deasyl and Ranieri Tonissi S.p.A are showcasing cleaner-burning fuel options and dual-fuel engine technology designed to lower the carbon footprint of marine operations.
Powering yachts at berth is another key area of focus. Exhibitors ASEA Power Systems and SKF will showcase new-generation shore power solutions that reduce reliance on onboard generators and help mitigate emissions in port environments.
Sustainable practices in yacht construction and refit are also in the spotlight. Builders Sunreef Yachts and Sanlorenzo will share examples of integrated environmental approaches across their operations, and Amico & Co. and Cantiere Rossini will feature in the refit sector. Both MDL Marinas and Marina Ibiza are also currently on the exhibitor list, representing infrastructure that reduces pollution.
Interior design and materials continue to evolve with eco-conscious priorities, and Silverlining Furniture brings sustainable craftsmanship to the show, while coating specialists Boero YachtCoatings and AkzoNobel will present low-VOC marine paints that meet performance demands without compromising on environmental compliance. Advanced sanitation technologies will be on display courtesy of DVZ-Services and Headhunter Inc.
Robert van Tol, executive director, Water Revolution Foundation comments: “Blue Wake highlights MYS exhibitors that have been developing concrete, innovative eco-responsible solutions for the yachting sector over the past several years. Our mission is to ensure that only robust and operational initiatives are included in this programme, thereby guaranteeing the true credibility and viability of the solutions presented at the MYS.
“The Monaco Yacht Show plays a vital role in showcasing these efforts, reinforcing the collective commitment of the entire yachting industry towards a sustainable transition. Yet, showcasing innovation is only half of the story—real change happens when buyers choose to embrace and adopt these solutions in their new build and refit projects. That’s how we collectively move the yachting industry forward.”
