Heesen’s on speculation Project Evita (YN 21557) — a 56.7-m motor yacht — has reached a major technical milestone with the successful joining of its hull and superstructure. As the largest vessel ever built on spec by the company, the project now moves into outfitting with delivery scheduled for Q3 2027.
With a 2.3-metre draft, Project Evita is the largest Heesen yacht capable of accessing shallow-water destinations like the Bahamas and is compliant with IMO Tier III standards, enabling access to the best cruising grounds. Featuring an all-aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), the vessel can reach a top speed of 21.5 knots and has a transatlantic range of 3,900 NM at 13 knots.
The construction milestone is the official point where the vessel’s final classification rules are implemented.
Project Evita‘s exterior design is by Omega Architects and is notable for its distinctive scallop-shaped transom. A structural departure from its award-winning sistership, Santosha, is the redesigned aft ship, which replaces the traditional beach club with an infinity pool on the main deck aft.
The exterior decks are expansive – the sundeck is divided into three zones: aft sun loungers, a central dining and bar area under the hardtop, and a forward lounge.
Combining the efficiency of a lightweight aluminium hull with impressive volumes Heesen believes the boat remains a unique proposition in the 50-metre-plus market.
Interior ready to be customised to potential owner specs
Now is the perfect time for a customer to come aboard.
The interior layout provides a versatile foundation for customisation. With an internal volume of 780 GT and nearly 400 square metres of interior space, the owner’s stateroom stretches the full 10.5-metre beam, while five additional guest cabins accommodate a further ten guests. It has a central glass elevator.
While Harrison Eidsgaard has designed the interior layout, the interior stylings are crafted by Heesen Yachts Interiors, the shipyard’s in-house workshop, where traditional Dutch cabinetry meets advanced technology to produce furniture to the highest standards.
