Nanni partners with PME Group to expand UK generator footprint
French marine engine and genset manufacturer Nanni has announced a strategic distribution partnership with PME Power Systems Group, expanding its footprint and generator business across the United Kingdom.
Under the new agreement, PME Group – the established UK and Ireland importer for MAN marine engines – will become a key distributor for Nanni’s complete generator set range.
The partnership is part of Nanni’s strategy to expand the visibility and adoption of its generator solutions across the yachting, commercial marine and naval sectors.
This collaboration will allow each customer to benefit from a complete propulsion and onboard power package. By combining MAN propulsion engines, already distributed and supported by PME Group throughout the UK, with Nanni generator sets, customers will have access to an integrated solution from a single trusted partner.
Nanni’s generator portfolio spans from 5kW to 930kW, catering to light pleasure craft, superyachts, commercial vessels and naval projects. This partnership is designed to accelerate Nanni’s market penetration across these sectors while leveraging PME Group’s established engineering support and service network in the UK.
Founded in 1952, Nanni operates production plants in France and Italy, manufacturing marine engines from 10hp to 2,200hp and generator sets up to 930kW. The collaboration underscores a mutual commitment from both brands to deliver high-performance, marinised power solutions backed by robust local technical support.
The partnership reflects both companies’ commitment to providing innovative, high-performance marine solutions while strengthening local support and service capabilities throughout the UK market.
