Ocean Independence joins Deutsche Yachten

Yacht management company, Ocean Independence has joined Deutsche Yachten, the working group of the German Boat and Shipbuilders Association.

Based in Küsnacht, Switzerland, Ocean Independence also has branches in Düsseldorf and Hamburg.

“The German market has always been a very important one for us,” says Lukas Stratmann, sales broker at Ocean Independence. “Many of our brokerage, charter and new construction clients come from Germany. Therefore, it was only natural to join the working group in order to create an even better network with the relevant companies in this country.”

Founded more than 15 years ago, Ocean Independence has 13 offices worldwide and focuses on yacht management, including operational yacht management and new yacht construction.

Claus-Ehlert Meyer, managing director of the German Boat and Shipbuilders Association comments: “A company that is so strongly focused on end customers and thus acts virtually on the pulse of yachting is very good for the group. I am extremely pleased to welcome such a renowned company.”
