Quality Marine Clothing (QMC) has announced a partnership with Smallwood’s Yachtwear to represent the US uniform supplier in the Asia-Pacific region.

QMC says this strategic collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies to allow each one to expand its reach and provide better services to its clients.

Founded in 1981 in Fort Lauderdale, Smallwood’s Yachtwear is a uniform supplier to the yachting industry, creating functional attire for busy yacht crews. Sales director Saxon Cwalinski says: “We are really excited about this new partnership, paving the way to the global expansion of our brand with a terrific partner.”

An established uniform supplier to the Asia-Pacific region with an office in Hong Kong, Australian-based marine clothing firm QMC says that, by teaming up with Smallwood’s, it will fill a gap in Smallwood’s global presence and increase its focus on the Asia-Pacific market.

“We have been talking to several players to increase our offering, and really wanted Smallwood’s as see them as a perfect fit to what we are doing – a real synergy,” comments Duncan Curnow, QMC sales and marketing director.

“We are proud to represent them for our region.”
