Italian yacht builder Riva has launched its largest yacht yet, the 54Metri, a 54-metre superyacht unveiled at the firm’s Superyacht Division in Ancona, Italy.
At 54 metres in length, a beam of 8.60 metres, the all-aluminium yacht is under 500GT and is designed by Officina Italiana Design — continuing their three-decade-long partnership with Riva.
The superyacht, with sporty lines, spans four decks connected by a lift, offering accommodation for up to 10 guests across four cabins and a main deck master suite. Crew quarters are for a team of 11.
The yacht has a large transformer platform at the stern, leading to a beach club area where a 5-metre pool and sun loungers are found. The beach club and main deck cockpit feature fold-out terraces, and the bow includes versatile sun loungers with a hinge mechanism to facilitate launching and storing water toys.
On the inside, design combines natural teak panelling, fine marble and leather finishes. The shipyard emphasises that the layout prioritises guest privacy with dedicated crew routes and sound insulation measures, including electric stabiliser fins and rudders to minimise noise and vibration levels.
Further technology has been incorporated into the helm, with dual X-band radars, 5G connectivity, Starlink satellite, an ECIDS navigation system and multiple large touchscreen displays.
“Now every yachting enthusiast and Riva fan has a new boat to dream about,” says Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “The largest Riva ever built right now is the new wonder of the sea, a masterpiece of style by Officina Italiana Design that will turn heads in every marina and on every stretch of water on the planet.
“I’d like to congratulate everyone who worked on this extraordinary yacht that so magnificently celebrates the visionary genius of Carlo Riva and his megayacht project of the 1960s and 1970s, writing another spectacular page in the history of Riva and yachting as a whole.”
