Scanstrut launches new product category called Connect

Scanstrut Cold Water Outlet

Scanstrut has released a new product category called Connect, which the UK equipment manufacturer says is designed to provide durable water, power, solar and general connection solutions for marine use.

The first product in the range is the Cold Water Outlet (SC-V-W1), a Quick-Connect cold water outlet and wash-down kit intended for boats and other outdoor installations.

Scanstrut says the Cold Water Outlet offers access to cold water for tasks such as washing decks, rinsing equipment or cleaning dive and fishing gear. It includes a Quick-Connect coupling, a 3m coiled hose and a stainless-steel shower head with Jet and Shower spray settings. These components allow users to alternate between a concentrated spray and a gentler rinse.

Connect is designed to operate within Scanstrut’s existing mount, power, air and seal systems. The Cold Water Outlet works with the wider Scanstrut range for marine, RV and overland installations, allowing builders and owners to configure a unified onboard setup.

“We saw a clear demand from OEMs and boat owners for a reliable water connection,” says Grant Fox, head of marketing. “With Connect and the Cold Water Outlet, we are delivering on the Scanstrut promise of quality, durability and ease of use whether on the ocean or off the grid.”

The Cold Water Outlet (SC-V-W1) is listed in the Scanstrut Marine collection under the new Connect category and is available now.
