Tankoa Yachts has launched the second hull in its T55 Sportiva series, a 55-metre yacht named M/Y Loewe. The launch comes just over a month after the first unit’s debut, indicating continued momentum in the shipyard’s production schedule. The company’s CEO Vincenzo Poerio, based in Genoa, Italy, has recently been charged with looking after professional training and sea culture for the Italian Marine Industry Association.

Sold to someone termed an ‘experienced European owner’, M/Y Loewe features both exterior and interior design by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. The project was developed in collaboration with the owner’s team, resulting in a custom layout and design features tailored to the owner’s preferences.

Unlike the first unit, M/Y Loewe includes six guest cabins, increasing capacity while maintaining similar comfort levels. The yacht also features an internal elevator.

Onboard amenities include a beach club with a large window to the sea, a sauna and hammam (a Turkish bath), a swim platform with integrated pool, and two jacuzzis — one in the owner’s suite and another full-beam installation on the sundeck.

M/Y Loewe is intended for the charter market and will operate in the Mediterranean during the current season.
