West System experts will offer a series of practical demos and masterclasses on its marine epoxy solutions at the upcoming RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show 2024, which takes place from 24 to 25 February at Farnborough International, UK.

The popular sailing and watersports event promises dynamic displays, boat showcases and insights from prominent figures in the marine retail industry.

Attendees at stand M34 can explore West System’s Epoxy repair pack which caters to boat owners, hobbyists and wooden boat enthusiasts. Experts will be on hand with practical demonstrations, twice daily.

Wessex Resins and Adhesives, which manufactures West System, Pro-Set and Entropy Resins under the license of Gougeon Brothers Inc, says it is ready to support dinghy sailors in overcoming seasonal challenges and provide technical expertise for customers working on wooden boat builds/repairs.

Visitors to the show can also explore West System’s Mini Packs at stand M34, designed for wooden or GRP boat owners. That’s described as a compact and all-inclusive kit tailored for small repair jobs. It provides solutions for overnight fixes and contains all the essentials to make small repairs. The Fibreglass Boat Repair Kit (105-K), part of the West System small repair range, includes the fundamental essentials to provide fibreglass repairs, offering effective solutions for quick turnaround fixes.

West System team’s practical demonstrations will be at 12pm and 2:30pm, and cover basic use, personal protection when using epoxy, adding fillers, GRP repair, and use of glass fibre and epoxy. This session is specifically designed for quick repairs and showcasing novel techniques.
