Williams Jet Tenders has launched its TurboJet MX range, comprising the TurboJet 280MX and TurboJet 320MX. The two models form the company’s new entry-level jet tender offering.

The TurboJet 280MX has a length overall of 2.79m and is powered by a BRP Rotax Ace 903 60hp engine. It can carry three adults and one child, with a top speed of 42mph. The TurboJet 320MX measures 3.19m and has capacity for four adults and one child. It uses a 90hp engine and has a top speed of 45mph.

The recommended retail price is £17,299 for the TurboJet 280MX and £19,995 for the TurboJet 320MX.

“TurboJet MX represents an important evolution for Williams,” says Mathew Hornsby, commercial director at Williams Jet Tenders. “We’ve listened carefully to the market and recognised an opportunity to deliver a tender that maintains the quality, performance and ownership experience customers expect from Williams, while opening the door to a broader audience. For many owners, you would have to go back to 2017 to find a new Williams tender at this price point.”

The range has been introduced as the global yacht market continues to face slower sales in some sectors. The 40-70ft segment has experienced lower new boat sales in recent years, which the company attributes to inflationary pressures.

Williams says more than 5,000 of its tenders are already operating in the 40-70ft yacht sector worldwide.

Williams states that the new models are approximately 20 per cent lower in retail price than comparable jet tenders on the market and approximately 30 per cent lighter than competing jet tenders.

New range to replace existing MiniJet 280

The new range will replace the existing MiniJet 280 as Williams’ entry-level offering. Production of the MiniJet 280 is scheduled to end in September 2026, after which yacht fitment will transition to the TurboJet MX platform.

“The TurboJet MX is about accessibility without compromise,” adds Hornsby. “By creating a product that delivers exceptional value while remaining unmistakably Williams, we’re positioning ourselves to grow our customer base, increase production volumes and continue driving innovation within the jet tender market.”

The TurboJet 280MX and 320MX are available to order through Williams Jet Tenders’ global dealer network.
