Zeelander Yachts delivers 17m Z55 yacht to the US East Coast

The first Zeelander featuring interior design by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design has been delivered to the USA.

Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design has created interiors for several superyachts, including Feadship’s 92m Aquarius and 87m Lonian, Heesen Yachts’ Galactica Super Nova and Hakvoort’s Just J’s, among others.

The Dutch design studio says it implemented clean looks, strong oriental influence and understated luxury all through the classic layout of three cabins on the lower deck, including a full-beam master cabin with ensuite bathroom.

“We are glad how our collaboration with Sinot went out,” says Sietse Koopmans, chairman Zeelander Yachts. “They did an amazing contemporary interior and managed to put their superyacht experience into a 55-foot yacht.”

The Z55 is equipped with a Seakeeper stabiliser to eliminate rolling and its exterior was designed with the award-winning Cor D Rover. It features a pair of 1,000hp Volvo Penta IPS 1350, a deep-V hull and is said to have a range of over 500 nautical miles at 28 knots.
