MDL Marinas expands Otium loyalty programme

MDL expands Otium loyalty programme with 12 new partners as member rewards hit record levels LR MDL’s member rewards have hit record levels

MDL Marinas has added 12 new partners to its Otium loyalty programme, taking the total number of partners to more than 50 and widening the range of boating products, services and lifestyle rewards available to members.

The expansion follows a strong year for the scheme. MDL reports that Otium members earned 1.6m points in 2025 and redeemed 1.2m during the same period. Since the programme launched in 2020, more than 5.5m points have been earned, with 3.8m redeemed.

“Otium has continued to build momentum as more members make regular use of the programme and its partners,” said James Barnes, managing director of MDL Marinas. “The addition of new partners gives berth holders greater choice in how they earn and redeem points, from everyday boating services to leisure and hospitality experiences.”

New partners joining Otium include Britannia Events, Clipper Marine, Compare Yacht Insurance, Fairview Sailing, Fox’s Yacht Sales, Powerboat & RIB, Royal Harwich Yacht Club, Sailing Logic and White Dot Sailing, along with several marine service providers based at Port Hamble and Woolverstone.

Otium membership is free for MDL berth holders, who earn points on purchases made across MDL marinas and boatyards. Points can be redeemed against MDL services or with Otium partners.

Cruising bundles remain one of the most popular redemption options, providing access to up to 160 marinas across Europe. Other frequently used partner rewards include Renegade Brewery, Gaff Rigger, Ketch Rigger and the Harbour Hotel Southampton at Ocean Village Marina.
