Tureddi reveals new E-Line at corporate gathering

Guests explore a Tureddi yacht

Tureddi Group, an Italian luxury boatbuilder, has presented its upcoming yacht projects, which range from 18 metres to 65 metres.

The range announcements were made during a three-day event last week. On the first day Tureddi gave the guests a tour of the shipyard. On the second day, the firm held a round table about the topic of the charter market and presented two new projects with the charter market in mind.

These new projects include a 60ft model, in the new E-Line, of which the first unit is sold and should be delivered in 2025.

Tureddi Group says the ‘E’ in E Line refers to the Explorer spirit, and the vessels are designed with a modular layout that can be adapted to different destinations.

The firm estimates it will have laid the keel of the first 60-foot E Line in September 2024, which will be delivered in 2025 for the summer season. The firm is also developing 80ft and 120ft models. The exterior design is by designer Leonardo Cecchi.

Tureddi says the E Line can also be transformed into a small shadow vessel at a ‘low cost’, for superyachts that need space and support for transporting toys.

The second new project is Project 65, a 65-metre explorer yacht, which takes inspiration from the slow movement of the waves and which will be presented in its completeness during Monaco Yacht Show. This vessel features design from Leonardo Checchi as well.

In addition to the new E series, Tureddi revealed it is also preparing to introduce its X series, comprising models X370, X450 and X550, and also the project EX 65 — the 65-metre yacht presented by Leonardo Cecchi that will be completed for the Monaco Yacht Show.

The firm presented its upcoming projects to over 100 guests, including around 80 brokerage company owners and representatives, as well as captains and industry players.

During the event, company president Alessandro Tureddi also introduced the work of the company’s charter business and gave an overview of investments made in research, the design of new motor yachts, and agency contracts signed during the last cycle.

Captains in attendance for the round table included Capt Gino Battaglia, president of the Italian Yacht Masters Association, who joined via Zoom. Participants agreed that there remains a gap in the market to bridge in the production of built-to-charter motor yachts, between the classic lines and explorer vessels.
