WATCH: cruise ship lifeboat destroyed by crane

Costa Smeralda lost one of her lifeboats after coming into contact with a crane in the Port of Savona, Italy.

It’s been reported that there was no damage to the ship’s structure, and the lifeboat has been recovered.

The ship was approaching the company’s terminal at the time, and no passengers were onboard due to Covid-19.

Costa Cruises has announced that it plans to postpone cruises until March 2021.
